Kathy, your collages are brilliant. What comes first -- idea, text, image/s? This is calling me but I fear getting sucked into spending too much time on each one. Maybe setting a time limit? Thanks for sharing these!
Usually text first, because this year the rule is to include a word or phrase from that day's newspaper. Sometimes the image first.
You're right that it can be a time suck, but with fewer rules and small size it can be faster. A time limit might help but then again maybe it would just add more pressure.
I suggest you try it and change the rules if you want to.
